As the seasons turn it's time for another dance, and we're rounding out the year with a big one. We are extremely excited to welcome to the circle two artists that have had a huge impact on what we do at Circle Dance: Alexis Taylor and Jeremy Deller.

They'll be talking and playing in the extremely intimate setting of our beloved Avalon Cafe.

Alexis Taylor is a solo artist and one part of the mighty Hot Chip. A foundational moment for us circle dancers was having out heads blown off by the band at a Glastonbury many moons ago. This is an opportunity to hear that pristine voice up close and personal.

Jeremy Deller is the artist who re-staged the Battle of Orgreave, created a bouncy castle Stonehenge, and last year published Art is Magic, an inspiring book that should be given to every teenager.

To round out proceedings, the Circle Dance String Band will be leading a seasonal singalong of festive favourites in our house style. Anyone who remembers last year's wonky Wenceslas will know what we're talking about.

We'll also be welcoming back Biddle's Bread to serve up hot and cheap vegan soup with big hunks of bread, plus our usual array of free fresh fruit and a few other goodies too. The Cafe is a lovely place to hang out, they've got a well-stocked and well-priced bar, and we'll be warming it up good and proper. Plus, new merch!

Tickets are £12. As we've done for the last two dances, we're also offering a Solidarity Price ticket if you'd like to donate a little more to our fundraising efforts.

As ever, if you're ill, disabled or on UC but want to come, message us and we can sort you out. No one turned away for lack of funds.

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, Circle Dance generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through Circle Dance, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
