Circle Dance presents: Siwan Catrin – 'Possibility' EP release party.
Tuesday 21st April, doors at 7, music from 7.30.
Circle Dance are extremely happy to release the debut recording by songwriter and harpist Siwan Catrin, produced in-house and featuring members of our own Circle Dance String Band. To celebrate, please join us in hearing the songs from the EP live (plus a few more for luck) in the cosy confines of the Hill Station Cafe in Telegraph Hill.
Siwan has performed for us at Circle Dance on three occasions, and we're really glad to now be releasing her music to the public. Singing in English and Welsh and accompanying herself on harp, Siwan plays songs new and old of hope, power, and worlds transformed.
Support comes from another member of the Circle Dance stable, Kate Huggett, who also released an EP with us at the end of 2025, I Dream of Aquatic Apes. Kate has sung with our house band on a number of occasions, and elsewhere with Shards, Howl, David Gilmour, Nils Frahm and AURORA. Her debut solo release feautures songs about the power of really old feminized voices, and bonds of magic, in the water and on the shore: Birthing practices, singing in monastery gardens, unwritten knowledge, bodies in and out of comfort.
Tickets £10 adv. Ill or unwaged but want to come? Message us and we'll sort something out.
